CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary:

We are looking for an a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company's customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. If you are a skilled communicator and posses 3-5 years' experience working as a customer service representative (manufacturing business background preferred), we encourage you to submit an application for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming customer calls and perform follow-ups regarding product problems, service questions and general client concerns. 

  • Confer with appropriate engineering personnel in preparing and finalizing response to queries/follow-ups.

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport.

  • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.

  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

  • Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.

  • Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to supervisor.

  • Comply with all PAG Industries safety rules and company policies.

  • Ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported.

  • Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.

  • Follow all company safety protocol.

  • Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.

  • Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions.

  • Perform above mentioned tasks and other tasks assigned.

Skills:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.

  • 3-5 years' job experience as a customer service representative (manufacturing business background preferred).

  • Experience using MS-Office and G-suite.

  • Understanding of our products.

  • Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles.

  • Ability to read and review technical drawings.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in ISO 9001 work environment (preferred).
